Spring photo in Ferreries
It's springtime in Minorca. Trees outside are green.
Last Friday we took this photo. It was quarter to two. As you can see the sky was blue, it was sunny. Some people wore T-shirts and some people wore long sleeves.

FUN, FUN & FUN IN CATALONIA
For two days we have gone to a trip,
250 kilometres away from our town.
We played, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast,
we slept and we enjoyed ourselves a lot
being alone with our friends and teachers.
But... everything was done in English because this
was the language we could use among us !!!
We want to repeat it again!!!

The weather was very nice,the temperature was about 22C.
Children's carnival in Patras
This happening was taken place in the centre of the town on the 3rd of March 2013 and the streets were crowded by 10000 little children and their parents. The Easter in Greece is going to be celebrated in the beginning of May this year.
We had a nice party,too!

HAPPY EASTER from CATALONIA
Seven EASTER BUNNIES visited us.
Altogether, Bunnies, children and teachers decorated the typical Catalan cake
we usually eat during these days.
In the afternoon, we ate them in our playground.
Ummm!!!! They were delicious!!!
WORLD WATER DAY 2013
Last Friday, 22nd March we celebrated the World Water Day.
We reflected a lot on it and we decided to start different actions and good
habits to not waste this powerful liquid.

As I told you last post, Year6 students wrote some poems. Then Year3 students chose some of them to learn.

Fourth picture from Ferreries (Spain)
As you can see the weather in Ferreries is fantastic. It is sunny and not very cold!
This morning some students took these pictures at 1:45pm.
The trees outside the school don't have any leaves and gardeners pruned them .
Students of Year 6 wrote Winter Poems and we have chosen some of them to learn.
Next week we are going to show you two of them!

CARNIVAL!
Crazy weekend in Catalonia!!!
Streets were full with adults and children wearing lovely costumes on.
On Friday, at school, we celebrated it wearing nice crowns about fruit.
Our school works deeply with healthy habits!

PEACE DAY IN CATALONIA
Do you celebrate Peace Day? We do!!! On the 30th January all the children in
our school built up the Tower of Peace, they wrote messages on pansies and
raised up starry notes! A wonderful day to reflect on it!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR from Turkey,Manisa Doga College
We watched Rudolf and Red Nosed Reindeer.
We sang the 'Jingle Bells'.We prepared presents to our family which were included best wishes of the New Year,2013. We used pinecones and draw our hand shape. We wrote our wish on the hand.
